50 Favourite Album Covers

I began this series of paintings for the Art Car Boot Fair in Margate in September 2019, the theme was LOVE, so I decided to make some paintings of something I love, it feels like a good time to focus on love. These 10x10cm oil paintings are miniature interpretations of some of my favourite album covers, I’m aiming to paint 50 and then stop there. It’s not exactly a definitive list, but these albums are some that I love and respect, and whose cover artwork are imprinted on my visual memory.
