Paint School Glasgow

I am launching some local art classes in the Southside of Glasgow where I live. Paint School Glasgow offers a friendly, supportive and inclusive environment that aims to stimulate and nurture creativity, build confidence and encourage students to develop their own unique artistic voice.

Location: The Deep End Arts Space, 21 Nithsdale Street, Glasgow, G41 2PZ

Ages: 12-16 Years

Dates: Thursdays 6.30-8pm

Price: £42 / (£24 concession) for block of three classes

Comprehensive tuition in the essentials of drawing and painting, an opportunity for playful experimentation with materials and techniques, inspiration from the stories of the lives and work of artists throughout history with short presentations, talks and group discussions. All materials provided.

I will be teaching a drawing class on Thursday evenings in November at The Deep End arts space in the Southside, and a six week painting course in 2025. Follow the link below for further information about these courses and what they will cover.

About me:

I am an artist based in Glasgow’s Southside. I’m a painter predominantly, I also work with ceramics and found materials.

I have facilitated a variety of creative workshops in primary and secondary schools, taught regular art classes for all abilities and ages and given talks in higher education settings. I was co-founder and director of an artist-led gallery, project space and studios in London called A-side B-side.

I am launching Paint School Glasgow with a short course in drawing, my aim is to introduce a wide variety of different courses as time goes on, with each one focusing on a particular artist, movement, technique or theme. Please email me to book a class or register interest for future ones:
